Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

2nd Aldermanic District

N. 61st St. - W. Melvina St. to W. Capitol Dr. (ST211250109/ST221250702) Installing traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $2,900; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500; Traffic Calming Assessment Offset -- $2,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $6,900. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

N. 70th St. - W. Marion St. to W. Congress St. (ST211250110/ST221250703) Installing traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $2,765; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500; Traffic Calming Assessment Offset -- $2,635).
