This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Fire and Police Commission, Health Department, Police Department, Department of Public Works - Operations Division (Administration Section, Sanitation Section), Department of Public Works - Water Works

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 230641 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Fire and Police Commission, Office of Emergency Management”, add footnote designation (X) to one position of “Emergency Management Director (Y)(CCR)”.
Under “Health Department, Community Health Division”, amend footnote (FFHV) to read:
(FFHV) To expire 9/30/2025 unless the Family Foundations Home Visiting grant is extended.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 230641 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 18, 2023 - August 20, 2023):
Under “Police Department, Facilities Services Section”, delete thirty-six positions of “Custodial Worker II - City Laborer”, add four position of “Custodial Worker 3”, and add thirty-five positions of “Custodial Worker 2”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 230641 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2023 - November 26, 2023):
Under “Department of Public Works - Operations Division, Administration Section”, delete one position of “Sanitation Business Operations Manager”.
Under “Sanitation Section”, add one position of “Sanitation Business Operations Manager”.
