Analysis

This resolution grants an easement to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company for the installation and maintenance of overhead and underground utility facilities at 5701 West McKinley Avenue (Milwaukee Water Works Hawley Road Water Tower).

Body

Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company provides electric energy, signals, television, and telecommunication services to the City of Milwaukee owned property at 5701 West McKinley Avenue (Milwaukee Water Works Hawley Road Water Tower property); and

Whereas, Said services are provided by overhead and underground utility facilities located on said property; and

Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company requires a permanent easement, as shown on Exhibit “A” of the attached easement document, on said property to install, maintain, and replace said facilities; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that an easement is granted to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company and the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to execute the easement document, a copy of which is attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement has been executed by the proper City Officers, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for transmittal to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company for approval.
