Analysis

This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable.  After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

3rd Aldermanic District

N. Terrace Ave. - E. Lafayette Pl. to E. Wyoming Pl. (SM495010576):  Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $11,000)

8th Aldermanic District

S. 31st St. - W. Lincoln Ave. to W. Hayes Ave. (SM495010575):  Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $7,000)

12th Aldermanic District

W. Burnham St. - S. 16th St. to S. 17th St. (SM495010574):  Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $6,000)

17th Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Lisbon Ave., W. North Ave., N. 49th St. and N. 50th St. (RM545139992): Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting sidewalk or driveway approach, and grading

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
