Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 190445 on July 9, 2019, creating a City-County Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity; and
Whereas, The City-County Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity held its first meeting on November 11, 2019; and
Whereas, Extending the Task Force’s reporting deadline will provide sufficient time for the Task Force to thoroughly research, analyze, and make recommendations to the Common Council and County Board of Supervisors regarding this complex and multi-faceted issue; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 190445 is amended by revising the introductory paragraph of the third “Further Resolved” clause as follows:
“Further Resolved, That the City-County Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity shall provide the Common Council and the County Board of Supervisors, within [[6]] >>4<< months of the date of [[adoption of this resolution]] >>the first meeting of the task force<<, a >>preliminary report on Task Force activities and findings, as well as a general timeline for producing a<< comprehensive plan that includes the following:”
