Analysis
This ordinance establishes that applications for special privilege permits authorizing all-night parking are required to contain information relating to the name and city of Milwaukee address of the permit applicant, the license number and state of issuance of valid motor vehicle license plates, the expiration date of the permit applied for and any other reasonable and pertinent information the department of public works may require. In addition, this ordinance establishes that vehicles displaying special privilege permits must also display while parked valid motor vehicle license plates.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 101-27-2-d of the code is created to read:

101-27. All Night Parking.

2. SPECIAL PERMIT.

d. Vehicles displaying special privilege permits must also display while parked valid motor vehicle license plates.

Part 2. Section 101-27-5-a of the code is amended to read

5. APPLICATION AND PERMIT.

a. Application Listing. The application listing shall contain the name and >>city of Milwaukee<
>permit applicant<<, the license number >>and state of issuance of valid motor vehicle license plates, the expiration date of the permit applied for and [[the owner's signature which shall certify that the owner lives in the city of Milwaukee and is unable to find reasonable accommodations and that the vehicle does not violate subs. 2-b and 4]]>>any other reasonable and pertinent information the department may from time to time require. A statement shall be included in the application that the vehicle for which application is made does not violate subs. 2-b and d, and 4<<.
