Center St. in the 10th Aldermanic District with a City share of $15,000.
Body
Whereas, The street was last resurfaced in 2019 and requires preventative maintenance; and

Whereas, This project is proposed to be completed as part of the City of Wauwatosa’s 2023 maintenance program; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and City of Wauwatosa share jurisdiction ownership of the roadway and will share the construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa will be the lead agency for construction; and

Whereas; The City of Wauwatosa, pending Council approval, has agreed to undertake the construction work with the City of Milwaukee paying for the portion within the City of Milwaukee limits for all construction expenses; and

Whereas; The City of Milwaukee and City of Wauwatosa have agreed to the scope of work and retain all responsibilities to the roadway; and

Whereas; Any cost overruns and/or changes in scope shall be approved by the Department of Public Works and the City of Wauwatosa with costs divided based on jurisdictional boundaries; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2023; and

Whereas, The construction cost was approved in Resolution File Number 230742; and therefore, be it
