Title

A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Local Business, LB2, to Institutional, TL, for the properties located at 1200 and 1222 West Wells Street, on the north side of West Wells Street, west of North 12th Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This zoning change was requested by Marquette University and will consolidate the zoning and allow the sites to be joined with the adjacent site to the west, which is zoned TL.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for 1200 West Wells Street, Tax Key No. 391-0218-000, and 1222 West Wells Street, Tax Key No. 391-0219-100, from Local Business (LB2) to Institutional (TL).
