Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Library, Health Department, Department of Public Works-Administrative Services Division and Police Department.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2006 - January 1, 2006):

Under “Library, Neighborhood Library and Extension Services Decision Unit, Community Outreach and Technology Center Initiative (J)”, delete one position of Librarian II (J); under “Automotive Services Unit”, delete one position of “Bookmobile Operator (J)” and add one position of “Bookmobile Operator”; under “Mobile Library and Outreach Services Unit”, delete one position of “Librarian III (J)” and add one position of “Librarian III”; under “Neighborhood Library and Extension Services Pool”, delete one position of “Library Circulation Assistant II (J)” and add one position of “Library Circulation Assistant II” and amend footnote “(J)” to read as follows: “Positions 100% funded under the Community Development Act.”

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Prevention Division, Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic”, add five positions of “Communicable Disease Specialist (X)(F)” and amend footnote “(F)” to read as follows: “To expire 12/31/06 unless the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Grant, available from the state of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services, is extended”; under “Maternal, Child and Home Environmental Health Division”, add the title “C...
