Analysis
This resolution implements a provision of the 2005 city budget reserving $30,000 in DPW - Buildings and Fleet, Facility Systems Program capital improvement account, for the remodeling of Room 102 in the Zeidler Municipal Building. During the City Hall Restoration, the Common Council meeting Room 301-B will not always be usable during certain periods of the restoration. Room 102 will be an alternative meeting room.

Whereas, The City Clerks Office's seeks the remodeling of Room 102 in the Zeidler
Municipal Building to serve as an alternative meeting room to Room 301-B, which will not always be usable during the City Hall Restoration; and
Whereas, By amendment and footnote to the 2005 adopted city budget, the Common Council wants to ensure that funding is available to remodel Room 102 to serve as an alternative meeting room; and
Whereas, The Capital Improvement funds for the Facility Systems Program includes improvements and upgrades to facilities; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $30,000 is reserved in the DPW-Buildings and Fleet Facility Systems Program capital account to remodel Room 102 in the Zeidler Municipal Building.
