Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Employee Relations - Employee Benefits Division, in cooperation with the City Attorney's Office, to prepare and complete an amendment to agreement for a one-year period with Standard Insurance to provide a Long Term Disability Insurance to selected City of Milwaukee employees.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee currently has a contract with Standard Insurance Company to provide Long Term Disability Insurance, and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee desires to continue this relationship during 2002; and Standard Insurance is interested in extending their contract through 2002; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Employee Relations, Employee Benefits Division, in cooperation with the City Attorney's Office, is authorized to prepare and complete an amendment to agreement with Standard Insurance for a one-year period from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002 to provide a Long Term Disability Insurance Program to selected City of Milwaukee employees.
