Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute
an Easement with the Wisconsin Electric Power Company for installation,
operation, and maintenance of a water main across Wisconsin Electric
Power Company property.
BODY:
Whereas, The Milwaukee Water Works is desirous of constructing a water
main in Wisconsin Electric Power Company property in South Burrell
Street extended at a point north of East Waterford Avenue; and
Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company has agreed to allow
such crossing of its property provided the City enters into an easement
with it for such purposes; and
Whereas, The terms of said easement are set out and attached to this file
and approved as to content by the Superintendent of the Milwaukee Water
Works; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute
Easement WE881, two copies of said easement being attached to and
part of this file; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said Easement has been executed by the
proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the Office of the City
Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the Office
of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
