All members indicated they had done so. The question was put: Is Ms. Katina Robertson-Johnson or her counsel present and, if so, does either wish to address the Common Council? Ms. Robertson-Johnson was present. The question was further put: Is Mr. Kent Parker or his counsel present and, if so, does either wish to address the Common Council? Mr. Parker was not present. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from interested parties in this matter. There was no objection. Ms. Robertson-Johnson appeared and addressed the Common Council. Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the Common Council. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee rise. There was no objection. The question was put: Are there any motions relative to this matter?

This motion denies the revocation request of the Class “B” Tavern license for the premises at 4001 W. Fond du Lac Avenue (All Stars Sports Bar & Grill) in the 7th aldermanic district.

Body

Whereas, The Licenses Committee received a notarized complaint from Ms. Katina Robertson-Johnson requesting revocation of the Class “B” Tavern license for the premises at 4001 W. Fond du Lac Avenue (All Stars Sports Bar & Grill) in the 7th aldermanic district; and

 

Whereas, An evidentiary hearing was scheduled before the Licenses Committee on October 30th at 8:15 a.m. to consider the revocation request; and

 

Whereas, After considering the testimony and the police report at said date and time, the Committee found that enough evidence did not exist to justify a revocation of the license; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the revocation request of Ms. Katina Robertson-Johnson for the premises at 4001 W. Fond du Lac (All Stars Sports Bar & Grill) has been denied based upon the testimony provided and the police report.
