This resolution is for a storm water discharge and maintenance agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Greenfield.


BODY:
Whereas, In 1995 the City of Greenfield constructed storm facilities that include storm sewer mains, storm drains, storm manholes and storm inlets in South 35th Street from 535 ft. m/l North of West Wilbur Avenue to 350 ft. m/l North of West Lyndale Avenue, said storm sewer facilities were associated with the reconstruction of South 35th Street within the aforementioned limits; and

Whereas, A portion of the said facilities was constructed within the City of Milwaukee limits in South 35th Street from 100 ft. m/l South of West Wilbur Avenue to 535 ft. m/l North of West Wilbur Avenue; and

Whereas, On October 13, 1994 the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 940783 authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Public Works to make a $25,000 deposit with the City of Greenfield as the City's estimated share of the construction and engineering costs of the aforementioned storm sewer facilities; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee's actual share of the construction and engineering costs of the storm sewer facilities is $33,148.48; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with the City of Greenfield for future maintenance of storm facilities that include ...
