This resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in accordance with sec. 67.04, Stats., for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for providing financial assistance to blight elimination, slum clearance, redevelopment, and urban renewal projects under secs. 66.405 to 66.425, 66.43, 66.431, 66.4325, 66.435 and 66.46, in the amount of $1,880,000.

Whereas, The 1999 budget of the City of Milwaukee adopted by the Common Council contemplates the issuance of general obligation bonds in the amount of $1,880,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for providing financial assistance to blight elimination, slum clearance, redevelopment, and urban renewal projects under secs. 66.405 to 66.425, 66.43, 66.431, 66.4325, 66.435 and 66.46; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that it hereby and herewith authorizes and declares its purpose to issue and sell general obligation bonds in the amount of $1,880,000 for a project undertaken for a public purpose, to-wit; for providing financial assistance to blight elimination, slum clearance, redevelopment, and urban renewal projects under secs. 66.405 to 66.425, 66.43, 66.431, 66.4325, 66.435 and 66.46.
