Resolution rejecting a portion of reservation for public street purposes located south of West Green Tree Road from North 60th Street west to a point 144 feet more or less, in the 9th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
A new subdivision to be known as Bacher Farm is proposed to be developed generally north of West Mill Road west of North 60th Street. There is an existing 30-foot wide by 144-foot long east-west reservation no longer needed for public street purposes. This resolution will eliminate from certain property an unnecessary portion of reservation for public street purposes located south of West Green Tree Road from North 60th Street west to a point 144 feet more or less.

Whereas, A reservation for public street purposes was created by Warranty Deed, recorded on July 17, 1951 as Document Number 3039858; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee no longer deems it necessary to retain the 30-foot wide east-west portion of the reservation for public street purposes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby rejects a portion of the reservation for public street purposes, described as follows:

The north 30 feet excepting the east 45 feet of Lands in the Southeast ¼ of Section 22, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at a point in the east line of said ¼ Section which lies 475.00 feet south of the northeast corner of said ¼ Section; thence Southerly, along said east line, 232.00 feet to a point; thence Westerly, parallel to the north line of said ¼ Section, 189.00 feet to a point; thence Northerly, parallel to said east line, 232.00 feet to a point; thence Easterly, parallel to said north line, 189.00 feet to the point of commencement; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Engineer is hereby directed to have a certified copy of this resolution recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Milwau...
