This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, and construction of West Vliet Street from N. 27th Street to N. 12th Street. The revised total estimated cost of this project is $9,631,629 with a grantor share of $7,529,374 and a City share of $2,102,255.

Whereas, A revised project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming, design, and construction of West Vliet Street from N. 27th Street to N. 12th Street. with Federal aid under the Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STP-U) Program; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee of project cost overruns and changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee recognizes that the City may be 100 percent liable for project cost overruns and changes in scope as approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee recognizes that the City may be liable for any cost incurred by the State should the City decide to withdraw from the project; and

Whereas, Construction funds for the project were previously established in separate resolutions 212037 and 220757; now, therefore, be it
