Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1999 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 980575 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Employees' Retirement System", delete one position of "Management Accountant" and one position of "Administrative Services Coordinator"; and add one position of "Management Accountant-Senior" and one position of "Administrative Specialist-Senior."
Under "Health Department, Administration Decision Unit", delete one position of "Network Services Coordinator-Junior" and add one position of "Network Analyst-Assistant."
Under "Police Department, Administration Decision Unit, Personnel and Administration Bureau, Personnel Division", delete one position of "Police Health and Safety Coordinator" and one position of "Deputy Inspector of Police" and add one position of "Administrative Lieutenant of Police (Health and Safety)" and one position of "Police Department Personnel Administrator"; under "Technical Services Bureau, Communications Operations Division", delete the title "Dispatcher" and substitute in lieu thereof the title "Police Dispatcher" and delete footnote "(I)."
Part 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 3. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 4. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
