Minutes note: The court reporter was sworn in. The question was put: "Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee, and any written exceptions, if filed, in this matter?" All members indicated that they had done so. The question was put: "Are the following applicants or their Counsel present and wish to address the Council?" Marc Rupnow (was not present) Melinda Miller (was not present) Raul Vazquez (was not present) Joseph Zanotti (was present) Dwayne Thomas (was present) Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from Mr. Joseph Zanotti and Mr. Dwayne Thomas. There was no objection. Attorney Steven Affeldt appeared on behalf of Mr. Zanotti. Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared on behalf of the office of the City Attorney. Mr. Dwayne Thomas appeared on his own behalf. Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared on behalf of the office of the City Attorney. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee rise. There was no objection. Ald. Bauman moved that the license of Joseph L. Zanotti, agent for "Club Havana, LLC", Class "B" Tavern renewal application and Tavern Dance application for "Club Havana" at 789 N. Jefferson St. be issued with a warning letter in lieu of a 10-day suspension. The capacity incident relating to this establishment is not to be considered in making this motion.
