This resolution will dedicate City-owned lands for public alley purposes to widen the westerly 1/2 of the southerly east-west alley in the block bounded by West Garfield Avenue, West Lloyd Street, North 31st Street and North 32nd Street.


BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee acquired a certain parcel of land, located at 2118 North 32nd Street, by Tax Deed dated and recorded on June 18, 1990 as Document Number 6389648 in Reel 2459 and Image 1667; and

Whereas, The southerly east-west alley south of, and adjacent to, said parcel of City-owned land is on the 1999 Paving Program and will be designed to include construction within the southerly 10.00 feet of said parcel of City-owned land; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following described City-owned land hereby is set aside and dedicated for public alley purposes:

That part of Lot 16 in Block 16 of Continuation of Mallory and Kern's Addition, a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 16; thence North, along the west line of Lot 16, to a point lying 10.00 feet north of, as measured normal to, the south line of Lot 16; thence East, parallel to said south line, to a point lying 10.00 feet west of, as measured normal to, the east line of Lot 16; thence Northeast to a point on said east line, said point lying 20.00 feet north of, as measured normal to, said south line; thence South, along said east line, to the south...
