This resolution declares said vacant lots surplus and authorizes the sale of them to the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation for new residential construction.
BODY:
Whereas, The Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation wishes to acquire the following vacant, tax deed lots for $1.00 each to construct residential units for owner-occupants:

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the sale of said vacant lots to be consummated in the manner provided for in Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lots are declared surplus, said Offers are accepted, and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sales in accordance with the provisions of the resolution referred to above; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of the Department of City Development is authorized to close the sales of said lots only after receipt of construction plans which are generally acceptable in terms of architectural detail and neighborhood compatibility.
