Minutes note: Mr. Tim Askin said the proposal is to modify the first floor, add a second story balcony, realign the windows, add some windows on the ground floor and are asking for conceptual approval. Staff says the proposal adds much-needed street life and the second story addition is well-aligned with the existing structures and staff supports this as proposed. Tim Vavra - designer Salvatore Sivilotti - applicant James Rufus - involved with the business Anthony Rufus - involved with the business Mr. Askin said further refinement of the entrances and cornices is needed and he also recommends a recessed entry with details. The second floor will have a European cafe and is going to be a homage to the family's history in the neighborhood and it is seen as a new gateway to Brady Street.
