Substitute resolution relative to application, acceptance and funding of a Hepatitis B Immunization Grant.
ANLS:
This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for, accept and fund a Hepatitis B Immunization Grant project from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services in the amount of $45,342. The purpose of the project is to initiate and complete the Hepatitis B vaccine series in high-risk infants.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services as pass through from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources (CFDA #93.268) for initiating and completing the Hepatitis B vaccine series in high-risk infants; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant project from 01/01/99 to 12/31/99 would cost $45,342 provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 940843 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent 1999 Special Revenue Grant and Aid Project fund, the following amount for the project titled Hepatitis B Immunization Grant:
