Minutes note: Ms. Dana Zelazny said that the construction will be between the open area between the house and the garage which currently serves as a grilling porch. The enclosed area will function as a mudroom and will result in the removal of a non-original masonry arch. There will be a new parapet skylight that won't be visible to the public. The addition will be set back from both the house and the garage and will feature one window. Staff recommends approval with the condition that the stucco be approved by staff prior to installation. Laura Bush - Wade Weisman Architecture - the windows will be Marvin windows with leaded tape to match the leaded windows. A craftsman will be applying the stucco. Mr. Jarosz would prefer a simple window, rather than with the leaded tape. Ms. Bush said a simple casement window with clear glazing would be fine. If the owners want a true-divided light window, that would be fine with the Commission. Grant, with a simple window or a double-hung window and staff review of the stucco, by Mr. Jarosz, seconded by Mr. Williams. There were no objections.
