Resolution authorizing and directing the proper City Officers to execute an Out-of-Program Agreement between Liberty Property Trust and the City of Milwaukee for construction of public improvements to support development of stage 18 of the Park Place Planned Development. (DPW)
ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution approves an Out-of-Program Agreement between the City and Liberty Property Trust. The agreement provides for the construction and funding of public improvements for a nine-lot office and service center subdivision within the Park Place Planned Development. In sum, the agreement stipulates that the City will design and install the various public improvements, the developer will provide the initial funds, and the City will ultimately refund the nonassessable portion of the improvement costs.
BODY:
Whereas, Liberty Properties Trust plans to develop a nine-lot service center and office park as the next phase of the Park Place Planned Development; and
Whereas, Park Place is located generally north of West Good Hope Road and west of North 107th Street; and
Whereas, The planned service center and office park will require various public improvements including storm and sanitary sewer, water extensions, and a new public street; and
Whereas, The developer now desires to enter into an Out-of-Program Agreement with the City of Milwaukee to provide for construction and funding of the required public improvements; and
Whereas, The Out-of-Program Agreement for this project is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Out-of-Program Agreement attached to the file is hereby approved and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City; and, be it
