Whereas, the City desires to advance an efficacious resolution of this matter;
Whereas, prompt resolution of this lawsuit can result in the avoidance of attorneys’ fees and costs spent unnecessarily in litigation,
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it most appropriate to submit an Offer of Judgment to the plaintiff, Rafael Rosales, to bring this litigation to an end; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Attorney may make an Offer of Judgement in this matter, $160,000, pursuant to Rule 68, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, to pay for all damages and attorney fees and costs.
