Title
Substitute motion to approve recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee relative to the renewal of the licensed dwelling facility license (rooming house) for the premises at 902 S. 3rd St.
Analysis
This substitute motion approves the recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee for the renewal of the licensed dwelling facility license (rooming house) to Suzana Crumble for the premises at 902 S. 3rd St.
Body
Whereas, The Hearing Examiner hired by the Utilities and Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on June 3, 2002 relative to the renewal of the licensed dwelling facility license of Suzana Crumble for the premises at 902 S. 3rd St; and

Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee approved the renewal recommendation of the Hearing Examiner on June 14, 2002, voting unanimously (3 ayes, 0 noes) to recommend renewal of said license; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, hereby accepts the recommendation of the Utilities and Licenses Committee to recommend renewal of the licensed dwelling facility license (rooming house) of Suzana Crumble for the premises at 902 S. 3rd St., based on the fact that concentration is not a reason to deny the renewal of a rooming house license and a finding that said facility has been operated in accordance with the relevant ordinances; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of Neighborhood Services is authorized and directed to grant the licensed dwelling facility license for the premises at 902 S. 3rd St. to Suzana Crumble.
