Analysis

This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to execute a one year lease with Reyes Transportation for seven (7) off-street parking spaces in a lot located at

2128 South 5^th Place.

Body:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has entered into a lease and lease extensions with Reyes Transportation for seven (7) off-street parking spaces located at 2128 South 5^th Place; and

Whereas, Reyes Transportation has requested that this lease be established for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2002, and for which there will be two one-year extensions; and

Whereas, The rent to be paid by Reyes Transportation for the seven spaces will be $175.00 per month; and

Whereas, No additional public parking needs have been identified for these spaces in this underutilized lot; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to enter into a one-year lease with Reyes Transportation beginning July 1, 2002, with two one-year extensions permitted at the option of the City, for seven spaces in the lot located at 2128 South 5^th Place for $175.00 per month, payable in advance to the City of Milwaukee.
