Title

Body
Whereas, The above-captioned case concerns a personal injury action seeking compensation for injuries sustained by plaintiff Ann Marie Micklitz in an automobile collision which occurred on October 10, 2001; and
 
Whereas, the City has a subrogation claim of $3,817.41 for medical payments made pursuant to its Basic Health Plan on behalf of Ann Marie Micklitz for treatment of injuries allegedly sustained in connection with the accident; and
 
Whereas, Plaintiff has offered the City the amount of $1,000.00 in settlement of its subrogation claim; and
 
Whereas, the amount offered is a fair and reasonable settlement of the City's subrogation claim; now, therefore be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to accept the settlement of $1,000.00 in release and satisfaction of the City's subrogation claim against Ann Marie Micklitz.
