Title

Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial Heavy (IH) to Industrial Light (IL2) and Industrial Office (IO2) to Industrial Mixed (IM), on land located on the East Side of North 31st Street and South of West North Avenue, in the 17th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance will allow for conversion of an existing building to uses such as residential, commercial, office and elementary school.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-801(2).0001. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along North 32nd Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way along West Meinecke Avenue, the zoning line within the right-of-way along the railroad right-of-way and the zoning line within the right-of-way along West North Avenue, from Industrial Heavy (IH) to Industrial Light (IL2).

 

Section 295-801(3).0001. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along West North Avenue, the zoning line within the right-of-way along North 32nd Street, a line 248.40 feet South and parallel to the south line of West North Avenue, a line 122.40 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 32nd Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way along West Garfield Avenue extended to the centerline of the railroad right-of-way, the zoning line along the railroad right-of-way, a line 120 feet South and parallel to the south line of West North Avenue and a line 142 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 30th Street, from Industrial Office (IO2) to Industrial Mixed (IM).
