Analysis

Adoption of this resolution authorizes an appropriation of $285,555.00 from the Common Council Contingent Fund to cover a shortage in the Library Board's Reciprocal Borrowing Special Fund Account.

Body

Whereas, The shortage in the Library Board's Reciprocal Borrowing Special Fund is due to Greenfield and Wauwatosa Libraries' signing of the current Member Agreement; and

Whereas, The Library Board's Reciprocal Borrowing Account will be underfunded for 2002 without this appropriation; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to transfer $285,555.00 from the Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-2002-006300) to the Library Board's Reciprocal Borrowing Special Fund Account (0001-8610-R862-006300-2002).
