Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to Contractors Access Equipment allowing occupancy of the southerly end of the north/south alley with a fourteen foot high, ten feet six inches wide canopy scaffolding in the block bound by East Mason Street, North Milwaukee Street, East Wisconsin Avenue, and North Broadway.
Body
Whereas, Contractors Access Equipment has been contracted by the property owner of 312 East Wisconsin Avenue to complete exterior work on the building; and
Whereas, The work will be completed between the dates of November 16, 2016 to December 16, 2016; and
Whereas, Contractors Access Equipment has requested to occupy the southerly end of the north/south alley with a fourteen foot high, ten feet six inches wide canopy scaffolding in the block bound by East Mason Street, North Milwaukee Street, East Wisconsin Avenue, and North Broadway between November 16, 2016 and December 16, 2016 to conduct the work; and
Whereas, Contractors Access Equipment will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure of the alley and the affected dates; and
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
