The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements. The City cost of these projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $1,748,100. The total estimated cost of these projects is $1,908,200.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

2nd Aldermanic District

W. Grantosa Dr. (Excluding Structure) - N. 68th St. to W. Fond du Lac Ave. (ST211060137) File Number 051660: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches where necessary, and sodding. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $82,600; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $275,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $403,200. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.

4th Aldermanic District

W. Kilbourn Ave. - N. 27th St. to N. 29th St. (ST211070169) File Number 070785: Installing traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $2,000) The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.
