This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works for improvements on which the benefited property owner has waived his right to a public hearing. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.


BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted a preliminary resolution determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

N. 12th St. - W. Keefe Ave. to W. Atkinson Ave. (872-0609-4) File Number 901144: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches, sodding and grading. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund 31-523---211-0001 -- $65; Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund 71-523---211-0001 -- $135) (SUFFICIENT FUNDS TRANSFERRED BY FILE NUMBER 971330, ADOPTED JANUARY 20, 1998)

in the 10th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The report of the Commissioner of Public Works has been filed with the City Clerk; and

Whereas, Waivers of notice and hearing of all abutting property owners have been filed; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the report of the Commissioner of Public Works be approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That said Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work in accordance with said report pursuant to Section 66.60 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
