Analysis

This resolution removes all references to a Payment in Lieu of Taxes from the resolution authorizing the sale of the City-owned tax deed property at 5229 North 51^st Boulevard to The Lord’s Way International or assignee.

Whereas, On January 21, 2025, the Common Council adopted File Number 241343, a resolution authorizing the sale of the City-owned property at 5229 North 51st Boulevard to The Lord’s Way International, or its assignees; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 241343, adopted January 21, 2025, is amended by:

1.  Striking the words “and recording of a Payment in Lieu of Taxes (“PILOT”) Agreement;” from the 4^th “Whereas” clause.

2.  Striking items 2 and 3 from the first “Further Resolved” clause and renumbering item 4 to item 2.
