Title
Substitute resolution approving the purchase by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee of real property located at 3001 West Meinecke Avenue from Capitol Stampings Corporation.
Analysis
This Resolution approves the acquisition of real property located at 3001 West Meinecke Avenue by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Redevelopment Authority") for the purpose of regrading a fill pile located on the property.
Body
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority conveyed real property located at 3001 West Meinecke Avenue to Capitol Stampings Corporation in conjunction with the conveyance of an adjacent industrial site; and
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority currently proposes to reacquire the real property located at 3001 West Meinecke Avenue from Capitol Stampings Corporation pursuant to the terms of an Offer to Purchase on file with the Common Council; and
Whereas, Pursuant to section 66.1333(5)4., Wis. Stats., the acquisition of real property by the Redevelopment Authority is subject to the approval of the Common Council. Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the acquisition of 3001 West Meinecke Avenue by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee pursuant to the terms of an Offer to Purchase on file with the Common Council is hereby approved.
