Analysis
This ordinance will change the zoning of the amended redevelopment area to allow for various land uses including a museum, cafe, retail and banquet space, archive and restoration structures, general office space and accessory parking for Harley Davidson Motor Company.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-701(7).0002. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the Menomonee River, the zoning line within the South Menomonee Canal, the zoning line within the right-of-way of South 6th Street, a line 530.52 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Canal Street, a line 186 feet West and parallel to the west line of South 6th Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way of West Canal Street, a line 178.86 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 6th Street thence Northerly to the point of commencement at the zoning line of the Menomonee River, from Downtown-Warehousing and Light Manufacturing (C9H) to Downtown-Mixed Activity (C9G).
