- ANALYSIS -
This resolution directs the Board of Assessment to proceed with securing easement rights over the riparian rights to the Milwaukee River along the west side of the river between West Wells Street and West Kilbourn Avenue. The resolution also directs the Board to determine the benefits and damages against property resulting from the proposed improvement.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 971532 on February 10, 1998 approving the Report and Tentative Plan submitted by the Board of Assessment for securing easement rights over the riparian rights to the Milwaukee River along the west side of the river between West Wells Street and West Kilbourn Avenue; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Board of Assessment is directed to determine the damages to be paid and the benefits to be assessed against the property benefited within the benefit district, and the total cost of the improvement, and, be it
Further Resolved, That said Board shall prepare a Final Report and Statement of the Assessment of Benefits and Damages and submit it to the Common Council.
