This resolution approves the transfer of $5,000 from the Municipal Art Fund to a Subaccount for an award of funding for the design of artwork for the Cass Street Park Project.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 2-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances provides for the setting aside of funds for works of art to be placed in City buildings and public facilities; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee Arts Board is recommending that funds be used for the design of artwork at the Cass Street Park; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that funds in the amount of $5,000 be transferred from the Municipal Art Fund Parent Purpose Account No. 31-002-0001 to Subaccount No. 31-002-1813 for the purpose of paying the design cost for various art pieces that will be placed in Cass Street Park.
