This resolution authorizes the proper City Officers to execute Sewer Easement SE-2761 in the area generally described as below I-94 between West Canal Street and the Menomonee River, in the City of Milwaukee in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Body
Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is planning to reconstruct the Marquette Interchange; and
Whereas, The plans for said reconstruction require the relocation of City of Milwaukee storm sewers due to proposed bridge pier locations; and
Whereas, The easement for said storm sewers are in property owned by Wisconsin Electric Power Company, a Wisconsin corporation, doing business as We Energies; and
Whereas, The City has granted permission under previous agreements to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to construct City of Milwaukee sewers; and
Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2761 will grant the City the right of entry in and across the property and with the right to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct, and relocate as may become applicable for said sewer; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby authorizes the proper City Officers to execute Sewer Easement SE-2761, said Sewer Easement documents being attached to this Common Council Resolution File Number 041691 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
Further Resolved, That said Sewer Easement documents shall be forwarded to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
