Whereas, The claimant, SBC (25200507-50-0132) has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $10,919.27; and

Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $9,989.27; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $9,989.27, payable to the order of SBC, Debbie Griffiths, Risk Manager, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Damages and Claims Account-006300 - Fund No. 0001 - Organization 1490 - Program 0001 - Sub Class S118.
