Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2025 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Department of Administration (Office of the Director, Budget and Management Division), Common Council-City Clerk, Health Department, Library, Police Department

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 240765 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Clinical Services Division”, amend footnote (COVI) to read:
(COVI) To expire 6/30/2025 unless the Immunization Cooperation Agreement grant is extended.
Under “Disease Control & Prevention”, add footnote designation (COVI) to one position of “Public Health Nurse Supervisor (X)(Y)(PHI)”.
Under “Police Department”, amend footnote (S) and add footnote (EE) to read:
(S) State Beat Patrol Grant: To expire 12/31/2025 unless the State Beat Patrol Program Grant available from the Wisconsin Department of Justice is extended.
(EE) FY24 COPS Hiring Program Grant: Position authority for 50 grant funded police officer positions to expire on 9/30/2029 unless the FY24 COPS Hiring Program grant is extended and maintained for a period of not less than 12 months following the end of the grant, unless the COPS Hiring Grant is extended.
Under “Assigned As Needed Within Decision Unit”, add fifty positions of “Police Officer (EE)”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 240765 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2025 - December 22, 2024):
