This resolution authorizes the sale of part of a vacant, tax deed lot by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, The adjoining owner, June S. Mayer, with her property located at 6339 North 116th, has offered to purchase part of the vacant, tax deed lot located at 6301 North 115th Street, Tax Roll Key No. 148-9955-6, from the City of Milwaukee containing approximately 4,620 square feet for $1,150; and
Whereas, Ms. Mayer wishes to acquire part of the City's vacant, tax deed lot adjoining her property to run City sewer and water laterals to her property; and
Whereas, The remainder of this lot will be held for future development; and
Whereas, This lot (part) is being sold in an "as is" condition; and
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said offer, the sale of said lot (part) to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed property pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said offer is accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot (part) and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 02-211-2700.
