Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers be and they hereby are authorized and directed to issue a city check in the total sum of $307.49 payable to Windy Harris, 4428 North 25th Street, 53209, to reimburse her for medical expenses; and, be it
Further Resolved, That members have reviewed the records relating to multiple previous street and sidewalk repairs performed in the vicinity in the year prior to the claimant's fall, and have taken testimony from the claimant and City representatives. Based on this review, members of the Committee believe it is most cost-effective to compromise and reduce the amount claimed from $3800 to $307.49. The amount recommended for settlement of the claim, $307.49, represents reimbursement for ambulance transportation and a health insurance co-payment. This resolution would release the City from any further liability arising from this incident; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the check is to be delivered upon presentation of a proper release, approved by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Account No. 636505, Fund - 0001, Organization - 1490, Program - 2631, Sub Class - S118.
