Analysis
This ordinance requires the health department to, no later than July 1, 2014, and no later than every July 1 thereafter, provide the common council with a written report of the department's animal-regulation enforcement activities during the preceding 12 months.  
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Section 78-55-8 of the code is created to read:
 
78-55.  Penalties and Enforcement.
 
8.  ANNUAL REPORT.  The department shall, no later than July 1, 2014, and no later than every July 1 thereafter, provide the common council with a written report of the department's animal-regulation enforcement activities during the preceding 12 months.  This report shall include, but not be limited to, statistics on the number, both citywide and by aldermanic district, of:
 
a.  Convictions for violations of the provisions listed in Column A of sub. 6-a, broken down by violation type.
 
b.  Animals determined to be dangerous animals under s. 78-23.
 
c.  Animals determined to be prohibited dangerous animals under s. 78-25.
