This special privilege resolution grants permission for the occupancy of the public way by the grantee for the purpose of doing business as a direct seller in accordance with the provisions set forth in Chapter 95 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances for 5 locations. The applicant sells inflatable balloons and novelties.
BODY:
Whereas, Mr. William Schrager was granted permission by the adoption of Common Council Resolution File Number 881040 on September 1, 1988 to occupy the public way while doing business in the City of Milwaukee as a direct seller in accordance with Chapter 95 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances and subsequently amended on November 7, 1994 by adoption of Common Council Resolution File Number 940794; and
Whereas, Mr. William Schrager requests that the resolution be corrected; and
Whereas, Said correction requires amending the existing resolution; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 940794, adopted November 7, 1994, is hereby rescinded; and, be it
Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Mr. William Schrager, 9043 West Grantosa Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53225, is hereby granted the following special privilege:
To occupy the public way as listed below:
South side of West Wisconsin Avenue - 20 feet west of the westline of Old World Third Street.
East side of North 35th Street - 20 feet north of the northline of West Sheridan...
