BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
To establish and/or alter and establish the grade or elevation of the following alleys assuming as a base the level of the Milwaukee River as it was in the month of March, 1836 A.D. Said grade between the points mentioned is to be on a straight line drawn from point to point.
1. On the flow line of the alley between West Arthur Avenue, West Hayes Avenue, South 7th Street and South 8th Street.
At the north line of West Arthur Avenue - 58.00 At a point 5 feet north of the last named point - 57.80 At a point 170 feet north of the last named point - 71.10 At a point 75 feet north of the last named point - 73.00 At a point 275 feet north of the last named point - 74.90 At a point 25 feet north of the last named point - 74.50 At a point 130 feet north of the last named point - 69.15 At the south line of West Hayes Avenue - 69.55
2. On the flow line of the alley between West Atkinson Avenue, West Capitol Drive, North Teutonia Avenue, North 20th Street and North 21st Street.
East-West Leg:
At the west line of North 20th Street - 90.60 At a point 125 feet west of the last named point - 88.90 At a point 118.59 feet west of the last named point (being the intersection of the centerlines of the east-west leg and the northwest-southeast leg) - 89.50
Northwest-Southeast Leg:
