This resolution directs the Department of Administration to explore the possibility of the City entering into one or more agreements with Milwaukee County, Bublr Bikes, and other dockless mobility system operators, relating to an application software program for multimodal transportation in Milwaukee.
Body
Whereas, Multimodal transportation options, including bicycles, scooters, buses, and the streetcar, help residents and visitors efficiently meet a variety of urban travel needs; and

Whereas, Application software programs provide commuters and visitors with increased access to transportation options; and

Whereas, Several application software programs exist for providing commuters and visitors with information relating to ride-share services, transit schedules, transit vehicle arrivals and departure times, locations of shared bicycles and scooters or their kiosks, and mapping options for the most efficient route to a destination using this mix of infrastructure; and

Whereas, Milwaukee County and the City share an interest in providing multimodal transportation information to commuters and visitors to ease congestion, decrease reckless driving with fewer cars on the road, and increase mobility options for residents and visitors; now, therefore, be it
