Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

7th Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Chambers St., W. Locust St., N. 49th St., and N. 50th St. (ST21210112) File Number 990845: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction. (Assessable Alley Paving Fund -- $67,700; Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund -- $10,700)

8th Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Lapham St., S. Layton Bl., W. Mitchell St., and S. 28th St. (ST212020126) File Number 83-2248: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction. (Assessable Alley Paving Fund -- $36,500; Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund -- $6,000)

13th Aldermanic District

S. 23rd St. – W. College Ave. to W. Alvina Ave. (ST21110114) File Number 991032: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, grading, and tree removal where necessary. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $5,600; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $26,800)
