This resolution designates the City Engineer as the authorized agent for the City of Milwaukee for the purposes of entering into a 2010 Urban Nonpoint Source and Stormwater (UNPS&SW) construction grant agreement between the City of Milwaukee (City) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Body
Whereas, On April 15, 2009, the City of Milwaukee applied for 2010 Urban Nonpoint Source and Stormwater (UNPS&SW) construction grant and planning grant; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (City) ranked high enough to receive funding for the 2010 UNPS&SW construction grant; and

Whereas, As part of the application requirement, the City submitted Resolution 090065, which authorized the City Engineer to apply for the 2010 UNPS&SW construction and planning grants; and

Whereas, Resolution 090065 also authorized the City Engineer to submit quarterly and final reports, make periodic requests for grant reimbursements and submit a signed Environmental Hazard Assessment form; and

Whereas, The resolution did not indicate who the City designated as its authorized agent to enter into a grant agreement between the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR).and the City is; and

Whereas, This information is necessary for the City to be awarded the grant funding; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Engineer is designated as the authorized agent for the City of Milwaukee for the purpose of entering into a 2010 Urban Nonpoint Source and Stormwater construction grant agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Department of Natural...
